Be a part of one of the most extraordinary youth orchestra programs in the country. Talented young musicians come from across the state to be immersed in this family friendly environment of musical excellence. Whether your musician is a young beginner or one of the top high school musicians in the state, one of our three audition-only orchestras will open their eyes to the possibilities that only come when surrounded by other musicians who share the highest musical standards.  Students play side-by-side with the finest university orchestras in the West including, BYU Philharmonic (2007), University of Utah Philharmonia (2008), and BYU-Idaho Symphony (2009).

The performance quality of our full symphony orchestra attracts the attention of these remarkable university programs and gives our students the inside track for entrance and scholarship awards to the most select college music programs in the West. Additionally, students benefit from unparalleled access to Utah Symphony conductors, musicians, and visiting guest artists from around the world. Select students from Lyceum Philharmonic even  have the opportunity to perform side-by-side with the Utah Symphony. In this way talented young musicians not only learn and are mentored by the finest professional and college musicians in the state but make music alongside them.

If this program sounds right for your young musician please do not hesitate to contact American Heritage School at 801.642.0055 or program director Kayson Brown at kbrown@ahsmail.com .
