American Heritage is located on a breathtaking 11-acre parcel of property immediately
adjacent to the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah and serves over 600
students in grades K-12. Class sizes cap at 17 students in kindergarten, 21 in 1st
grade, 22 in 2nd grade, 23 in 3rd grade, 24 in 4th grade and 25 in grades 5-12.
Classes are held Monday through Friday
Grades 1-6: 8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
Grades 7-12: 8:10 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.
AM Kindergarten: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
PM Kindergarten: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Elementary School
Students in grades K-6 study with a core teacher for Devotional, Math, Reading,
Language, Literature, Phonics, Orthography, Spelling, Geography, and History. These
students have specialty teachers for Science, Music and Physical Education. Saxon
Math, Riggs Phonics and A Beka Language are used as curriculum for core subjects.
In grades K-8 using the ITBS, a nationally standardized exam, American Heritage
School scores above the 80th percentile in most subjects with many students scoring
in the 90-99th percentile.
Middle and High School
Upper school (grades 7-12) currently offers the following AP courses, and students
are well prepared to take other AP tests:

Seminary is also provided at the school during the day and also as an early morning
option.
Extra-curricular programs at the school include Drama, Art, Student Government,
National Honors Society, Choir, Orchestra, Constitution Bowl, Science Bowl and other
events. Athletics include boys and girls basketball, soccer and cross-country.
The 2011 and 2012 graduating senior classes, comprising over 50 students, had an
average ACT score exceeding 26, including three National Merit Qualifiers. Universities

Aid and Scholarships
* Participation fees may apply for extracurricular athletics and also to some
curricular electives (middle and high school only). International students are required
to prepay the full annual tuition unless otherwise arranged with the School's Director
of Finance.
Non-refundable Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $30 per student
is required to be paid with respect to returning and new student applications.
Non-refundable Academic Evaluation Fees: Non-refundable academic evaluation fees
are required for all new students to the school as follows (see
“Evaluation & Expectations” for more details):$45 per student for a Placement
Assessment, applicable to all applicants entering grades 1-12. $20 for a Kindergarten
Readiness Assessment, applicable to all incoming Kindergarten students.
Non-refundable Seating Fee: Upon formal acceptance, a non-refundable seating fee
equal to one-twelfth of tuition is required to be paid in order to guarantee the
applicant's seat in the designated grade. The seating fee is fully applied to the
student's tuition, and will satisfy the first month's tuition obligation (for those
paying monthly).
