High School English & History Teachers (FT) (posted 11/27/09) Grades 9, 10, 12 English/Literature/History combined "core" positions. Positions open as a result of high school growth. Minimum two-years' experience, preferably in formal high school setting, AP or Honors experience helpful, bachelors degree or higher preferred. Must have an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, and love of the Restored Gospel. Ability to teach English (including writing and grammar), Literature, and History (U.S. and World History) strongly preferred. Competitive salary based upon experience. Online Teachers (PT) (All subjects) (posted 11/20/09): Two (2) or more years teaching experience in the pertinent age group and subject matter preferred, though strong candidates with less experience are also invited to apply. Successful candidates will demonstrate an enduring love and understanding of students, teaching and assessing, and the Restored Gospel; proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and internet browsers; strong organizational, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; and a Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred). Must have access to personal high speed internet and a long distance phone plan and a flexible day-time work schedule. Positions open immediately.

Administrative Assistant (FT):  Minimum two years experience in office support, reception, and management.  Successful candidates will exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) combined with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.  Proficiency required with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, internet browsers, and other document management and communication technology (Adobe Acrobat, FTP clients, learning management software, databases, etc.).  Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love and understanding of the American Heritage School mission and the Restored Gospel.  A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.  Competitive salary based upon experience.  Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, life insurance, and professional development opportunities.  Position open immediately and until filled.
