Cheri Hancock grew up in San Jose California. She comes from a musical family of ten children.  She went to BYU majoring in voice and music education.  She was the lead in several opera productions.  She was in acapella choir on tours to Israel and Greece, and was a founding member of BYU Singers traveling with them to Eastern Europe and Russia.  While living in Boston she was a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, which sang with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops.  She currently sings with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.  She has taught voice in her home for twenty years.  __________________________________________________________________________
