Tina Jespersen Tina began her teaching career at American Heritage in 2001. She has always loved interacting with children in education. "I love teaching the children a concept and then watching to see how they implement it in their lives." In the early 1980's Tina worked for the Cajon Valley School District in San Diego in the special education department. Her responsibilities included interpreting for high school deaf students, working with physically handicapped children and teaching at risk high school students. Tina has worked as a librarian and in 1991 she instituted and was the director of and the Family Literacy Center located in the Pleasant Grove City library. Mrs. Jespersen's two youngest children have attended American Heritage School and have treasured the education they have and are receiving here.
