Melonie Mullen comes to American Heritage School with a wealth of experience in ballroom dance performance and instruction. In 1987 she completed a degree at BYU in Dance with a minor in math. While at BYU, Melonie toured with the national championship BYU Ballroom Team and was featured as a soloist. Melonie also has substantial experience teaching ballroom dance to college, high school, elementary school and private studio dancers. Importantly, Mrs. Mullen views dance as vehicle to teach valuable principles of appropriate social interaction, modesty, and etiquette... while at the same time conveying that dancing is a lot of FUN! __________________________________________________________________________
